The weekly meeting of the Software Process and Infrastructure project of the LCG/AA.

================================================== Yves Perrin + Actions done and progress - Savannah:  . usual admin of new projects  . fixed the 'spamscore' of a user who complained that every    time he was posting anything, he received a warning that his    posting was suspected to be spam! (originated from someone    who, once wrongly clicked on the icon next to a comment    assuming that will discard the comment whereas it is clearly    marked as a 'spam marker')  . helped a user who was not using the notifications system    properly. - Hypernews:    . creation of new fora (... still!), renaming, etc    . several users to migrate from CMS to Atlas - keep notifying authors of web sites giving unreasonable names  to their pages that they should follow CERN naming rules. - reduced the number of Atlas HN users with no clear CCID to 9. - fixed 2 Atlas HN corrupted (wrong pointers) fora and ran  the migration script (without posting to e-groups) for more than  100000 messages spread over 245 fora. The links to msg attachments  were 'scrambled' for 60 files out of 1268. - now ready with the script and the lists for registered users and  fora subscribors. Waiting for Alexandre Lossent green light who  will provide us with a dedicated machine for the transfer. + Next actions - do HN migration phase 1 before christmas. - work on Drupal with Stefan ================================================== Ana Gaspar + Actions done - Develop an application to install the external projects - Install with the application the external projects in lxbuild115-vm3 and lxbuild115-vm4 - Reinstall cppunit and doxygen in the slc4 machines + Next actions - - - + Problems - - - ================================================== Bertrand Bellenot + Actions done - installation of sqlite 3.6.5 for win32_vc71 and i686-winxp-vc9-opt - installation of gccxml 0.9.0_20081130 for win32_vc71 and i686-winxp-vc9-opt - installation of Boost 1.37 for win32_vc71 and i686-winxp-vc9-opt - installation of Cppunit 1.12.1_p1 for win32_vc71 and i686-winxp-vc9-opt - build and installation of ROOT v5.21.06 for all the 20 supported platforms ================================================== Stefan Roiser + Actions done - Preparations for LCG 56. - Compile with native gcc 3.4 on slc5 - Several small hickups because of interface changes in ROOT - removed several warnings we are not responsible for e.g. Boost etc - External software - Installation of new gccxml 0.9.0_20081130. After the installation the gcc 4.3 installation was patched with one more missing builtin function - Move of Savannah and Hypernews backups into CASTOR - Worked with LHCb user to make new roofit against older ROOT 5.18 work + Next actions - Finish up on LCG 56 preparations ==================================================
