Description
In this talk we will present the current status of the global fit to all b->sll decays with a focus on the anomalies observed in different channels and the identification of general patterns among them. We discuss the different scenarios with high significances (between 4 and 5 sigmas) that emerge from the fit. We will review the observables of interest with special emphasis on our systematic treatment of theoretical uncertainties (in particular (non-)factorizable alpha_s QCDF corrections and (non-)factorizable power corrections) of the optimized observables that describe B->K*mumu, as well as their specific sensitivity to New Physics. We will also deconstruct in full detail naive and wrong arguments raised against the precision of these observables. We will include besides the latest 3 fb^{-1} data from LHCb also b->see observables under the hypothesis of New Physics breaking lepton flavour universality. Finally we will discuss the tests of robustness of the results of the fit and the interpretation of the different scenarios in terms of a Z’ with a glimpse into the future.
