Collaborating Projects Liaison Office (CPLO) activities during this period incclude: * Coordination and editing of the EGEE and collaborating projects joint-publication of "Achieving Global Science: Grid-powered solutions from EGEE and Collaborating Projects" which was released in September 2008. 28 projects contributed to this A5 booklet that was produced in occasion of the EGEE'08 conference. The booklet highlights achievements of EGEE and Collaborating Projects and their efforts in cooperating towards the provision of a world class, coherent and reliable international Grid enabling scientiifc excellence in many domains. The electronic version is available at http://press.eu-egee.org/fileadmin/documents/publications/CP-booklet-200 8.pdf * Coordination of the organisation of the Collaborating Projects (CP) track of the EGEE'08 conference and CP participation at the conference. Collaborating projects, as in previous events, made significant contributions to the conference programme with 7 convened sessions, 9 stands and several posters and demos presentations. Subjects ranged from digital repositories, security, application requirements and support to building on top of the gLite middleware stack and establishing collaboration with similar initiatives. Sustainability was a key point of many discussions and the planning for the future European Grid Initiative (EGI) was a major theme at EGEE'08. * Participation to the EGEE'08 conference * Coordination of the preparation of EGEE-III Memorandum of Understandings with several strategic projects: EDGeS, SEE-GRID-SCI, BalticGrid-II, GENESI-DR. * Revision of DNA2.3 "Dissemination, Outreach and Communication Plan" * Ongoing update of the EGEE CPLO wepages, including new CP registrations from DORII, SEE-GRID-SCI and OGF-Europe.
