    GIF bunker closed this Wednesday December 2nd. 

     

    -BEAM TRIGGER

    -Which sort of trigger do we need? Waiting news from Weizmann and Technion institutes. Yan expected to present a possible solution for the TGC front end electronic

    -scintillators will be needed anyway.

    -Alternative solutions:

    .wire chambers from EN (Federico will report)

     

    -COSMIC TRIGGER

    -Short report about installation of cosmic trigger chambers.

     

    -ABSORPTION FACTOR   

    -absorption factor need to be discussed for each side (upstream and downstream). Setup responsible should prepare their requests for gamma flux (very urgent!). I prepared a section where the setup responsible should be able to upload the slide.

     

    -SOURCE DURING CHRISTMAS

    Waiting instruction/possibility from Federico (glimos)

     

    -FLAMMABLE GAS SHUTDOWN FOR XMAS

    -David (EN-MEF) agreed to close the flammable gas at GIF on Wednesday December 16

     

    -WATER COOLING

    EN-CV has requested to postpone the installation. They are not ready before December 7.
