Transport between Geneva Airport and CERN
Shuttle is available during certain hours between the Geneva Airport and CERN.
For more information please refer to the CERN Shuttle Service website.
Due to reinforced security measures, participants will be dropped at the Main Entrance B/Bld. 55.
For transport outside these hours:
202 Geneve Taxis. Phone: 022 320 22 02.
Pick-Up infomation: CERN. Route de Meyrin 385, 1217 Meyrin.
Pick-Up at Main Gate "B/bld 55" or at the Hostel Bld. 39 (the security guards will guide the driver)
Transport between Center of Geneva and CERN : Please refer to the TPG site for itineraries.
Accessing CERN
Please proceed to the Main Entrance "B" (bld 533).
Mention you come for NI Big Physics Summit and show your ID papers.
Your access card will be distributed according to your selection, made in the registration form (hotel or meeting room).
Participants coming by private car - please proceed to Bld 33 in order to get a " parking permit" for your car.
Opening Hours Monday-Friday: 8h-17h45. Please address yourself to the security guards at Main Gate B (bld 533) outside these hours.
Due to reinforced security measures, participants coming by cern shuttle from the airport will kindly be asked to exit at the main Entrance B./Bld. 55.
Accommodation at the CERN Hotel
A limited number of rooms are pre-reserved between the 9th and 13th February 2016. Ref.: NI Big Physics Summit.
Deadline : 7th January 2016 (No rooms will be guaranteed after this date) . Price 58.-chf/night single room.
Please complete the registration form online. ALL reservations are confirmed by default as long as the registration form still shows remaining availabilities.
NO further confirmation will be sent out. Should the number of available rooms show "0", please contact the hotel directly to be put on a waiting list. Tel. 0041 22 767 44 81.
Check-In :
The Hotel Reception (Bld 39) is open from Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 02.00. Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 to 01.00.
Check-out : 12.00 a.m.
Outside these hours : room keys can be obtained from the security guard at the entrance to CERN's Meyrin site (Swiss side) - Gate B.
