Description
Astroparticle physics is in an era of rapid progress. New observations challenge theory on several different fronts. We will analyze a few prominent examples, putting special emphasis on the connection with fundamental particle physics. The planned program is as follows: Session 1: Overview: advances and prospects in astroparticle physics, from cosmic rays to precision cosmology Sessions 2&3: Galactic cosmic rays. What do we learn from new measurements by PAMELA, Fermi, and AMS02? Session 4: Interpreting IceCube’s neutrinos Session 5: Shedding light on dark matter with precision cosmology
