    The weekly meeting of the Software Process and Infrastructure project of the LCG/AA.

    ================================================== Yves Perrin + Actions done and progress - Savannah:  . approved new projects (and rejected one submitted by a potential    spammer) - Hypernews:  . migrated the LHCb instance to e-groups  . prepared migration of Alice instance  . received a request to add a 3rd project to the dump generated    for the gLite middleware people  . generated the table associating for every Atlas HN msg, the url    to browse it and the message-id used to post it. This was requested    by Atlas in view of providing their users with a mapping table    between HN msg url and the correspnding e-group url.  . deactivated the debug option set by Terry Hung (it stored 10 GB of    data in the LCGAA HN space) - Backups  . reviewed and modified the Savannah and HN backup scripts to    fix the cleaning of the AFS area and to integrate archiving    to CASTOR - fixed a (XSS) vulnerability in the lcgsoft dynamic pages + Next actions - migrate the Alice HN instance to e-groups - continue work on SFT/Drupal web pages with Stefan ================================================== Bertrand Bellenot + Actions done - installed ROOT v5.23.04 for all supported platforms ================================================== Stefan + Actions done - CHEP '09 - Installation of Boost 1.39_beta1 for linux and mac - this is trial installation for the upcoming LCG 56a configuration. Not decided yet if we use it - fftw has been rebuilt with shared libs. A change in the build instructions of the LCGCMT Builder package was needed. - Working on cernlib 2005 - still missing the XX_noshift libs. The switch to create the packlib etc libs without shift does not work. More investigation needed - Preparations started for next LCG configuration 56a. Several issues are still pending. Followup with development teams is necessary. + Next actions - Finish up with cernlib installation - Continue with LCG 56a preparation - Installation of gcc 4.4.0 ==================================================
