The weekly meeting of the Software Process and Infrastructure project of the LCG/AA.

================================================== Yves Perrin + Actions done and progress - Savannah:  . on request of Stephen Gowdy, I modified the code so that savannah    sessions can be 'remembered' bteween a user office and home    connections (did not get feed back yet)  . added one project in the database dump provided by a cronjob to the    gLite Middleware people for release control.  . fixed an 'accented' user name that made the notification to fail    (for efficiency reason escaping is done on big chunks instead of    on a word basis but this screwed the mail recipients list)  . an informal status meeting will be organized to clarify the    expectations of the people who want to 'bridge' Savannah and the    GGUS tracking system  . request from Federico Carminati for an API interface to Savannah.    (to be considered in the time scale of a few months otherwise    suggested he writes one using PERL + WWW-Mechanize or Python + ??) - Drupal  . installed new versions of updated modules  . need to update the Drupal core as well (more complicated) + Next actions - migrate the Alice HN instance to e-groups - continue work on SFT/Drupal web pages with Stefan ================================================== Ana Gaspar + Actions done - Fixing Windows vc7 and vc9 problems on slot dev - Modify LCGCMT_test.bat to add the synchronization of all the externals for the windows machines. ================================================== Stefan Roiser + Actions done - External software installations. gcc 4.4.0 with new versions of mpfr and gmp. Boost 1.39 for the linux and mac platforms. - Preparations for LCG 56a. New switch in LCGCMT to allow turning off the LCG_SettingsCompat package with the old tags (on by default). + Problems - The Mac OSX build server again had a problem with checking out from svn. The problem was the certificate not being trusted although this has been done already. Some extra debug information has been put into the nightly builds in case this happens again. + Next actions - Preparation of cernlib with -fPIC compilation on slc4/slc5 - this will be version 2005a. - Fix man pathes in LCGCMT which are pointing to the wrong dirs for some packages.
