Andrew showed very good progress in providing Dirac data for crosschecking with data in the EGI accounting portal.
Some analysis were already performed by LHCb and showed pretty good agreement with EGI portal. However the strange thing is that even on the level of the raw metrics for many sites Dirac shows slightly higher numbers than EGI portal. John and Andrew will try to investigate why it happened
There was a discussion following up benchmarking presentations at the yesterday GDB meetings. Julia thinks that there is a good opportunity to push for a common solution, not just using LHCb bench mark by several experiments, but also to create WLCG common repository with benchmark results. Alessandro told that such prototype already exists , the one developed by Chris and Domenico. Julia thinks that this should be agreed as a common WLCG project. Costin mentioned that ALICE would be interested not only to have benchmarks collected in a single place , but to be able to fetch info from there by the jobs at the run time. Not all experiments are interested in doing this, but should be an optional feature if is required. Julia suggested that people taking part in the benchmarking working group follow up on this proposal there.
Follow up on sites which do not report correctly to Apel.
Apparently not much progress so far, people were busy with other things. Julia asked to make progress by the next meeting. What concerns Pisa, the most annoying problem, Ivan set Pisa data to 0 until it is recalculated at the Apel side. Adrian thinks that it will be done during coming days.
WLCG-dedicated accounting portal proposal
Julia did not get much feedback for her proposal. She asked Pepe and Alessandra to have a look and they did, no much comments. Julia will go ahead creating a specification document for Ivan and will send it around for approval of the task force members. John commented that meanwhile there could be more input from people who already started to use the new portal.
Next meeting is in two weeks on the 29th of September.
Since it clashes with EGI event so Ivan and Adrian could not attend. Most probably we will try to discuss the results of validation of the new T0 accounting reports.
