THE FAST COST WG3&WG4 meeting will be held in Lisbon, Portugal on january 23, 24, 2017.
The meeting venue is the conference centre in the campus of the school of engineering of the University of Lisbon, in Portuguese "Instituto Superior Técnico" (IST). This institute is conveniently located in the centre of Lisbon. There many hotels and restaurants within walking distance of the IST.
How to reach the "Instituto Superior Técnico" (IST)
The easiest way to go there from the airport is the metro. At the airport take the metro, there is only one line, after a 20 minutes ride get off at the station Alameda. From there to the IST is about 10 minutes walking (see map).
The conference centre is not marked as such on the outside of the building, but the building is easily recognised because it has a student restaurant and coffee shop at its corner on the ground floor. Enter the building and you arrive in a large hall. Look for the indication Conference centre; it points to a staircase; go down 2 levels to reach the conference centre.
