1. News

- JCOP Framework 8.0.3 released on 17 February; collection of bugfix releases of components, with no major functionality added

- WinCC OA 3.15 "hotfix" release 20170217 available for Linux and Windows; contains hotifixes for problems we reported to ETM. Details on the downloads page

- We received a hotfix for a problem with Data Manager memory growth. Under testing

- The JCOP Fw  page now contains the link to the list of FWWG meetings in indico

- ETM will hold a "What's new in V3.15" seminar at CERN on 3rd of April. Please books the date in your agenda

2. Presentation of fwProfile component proposal

The following comments were raised

- the motivation and use cases are not very clear;

- what is the overlap with Access Control roles?

- is it intended to replace the internal configuration datapoints for components?

- possibly, one could achieve some of the proposed functionality by using ConfigurationDB recipes applied to internal datapoints of components

- A lot of care needs to be taken when implementing the profiles into fwTrending. The complexity of configuration is already quite high (multiple trend configurations, with templating, etc); extending this with user-customised profiles may become unmanagable.
Moreover, so far the trending configuration is done via internal datapoints, with a dpConnect, hence one could "remote control" the look of displayed trend through the use of these internal datapoints (used like this in ATLAS, for instance).

- There is a document summarizing the initial set of requirements gathered in BE-ICS-SDS. It will be attached to this indico page.

3. A.O.B

- ATLAS expressed the will to review the status/priority of the Eclipse plugin for CTRL. To be re-raised at JCOP CB.

- no other presentation planned for the next FWWG at the moment
