        CLIC Workshop, parallel sessions on Monday afternoon and Tuesday.

        Presentation:

        Cafer presented an optimization of the injector linac that significantly improved the performance of the system, w.r.t. to the CDR design. Next steps of the work should include:

        • an optimization of the target area (is 5 GeV the best energy?)
        • Considering that the positron yield is improved, one could reduce the current in the injector linac, which could lead to a decrease in the needed RF power.
