Here’s information on how to reach Hotel Sea Princess from various entry points:
TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT:
The conference location, Hotel Sea Princess, is very close to the International Airport, about 4 kms. It takes around 15-20 min drive from the Airport to reach the conference venue. The other two hotels are also in vicinity, so one can consider the same route to reach the hotels. There are private transportation facilities available to travel to and from the airport, which can be found here. There are also pickup and drop services provided by OLA and Uber cabs, these two are the most commonly used and reliable transportation services in Mumbai.
Participants staying in Hotels should enquire the hotel about airport pick up.
TRANSPORTATION FROM THE DOMESTIC AIRPORT:
The conference venue, Hotel Sea Princess, is about 5.5 kms form the Domestic Airport. It is about 20-25 minutes away, as said above the other hotels are also in vicinity so you can consider the same for others too. You can hire a private (KaaliPeeli) cab or you can also book an UBER or an OLA as the most convenient option.

TRANSPORTATION FROM CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS (participants coming by train):
The conference venue, Hotel Sea Princess, is around 22kms from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus by road. One may consider taking a taxi (OLA/UBER) or use the Mumbai Railway Services. These Railway services are open from 4am until 12:30am and there is typically a train service after every 4-5min. One must take into account that since these Railway services are extensively used by local commuters, during the peak hours of 7:00 to 10:00 and 18:00 to 21:00 the trains are usually crowded. The closest Railway station to the conference location is Santacruz Station, which is about 4 kms away from the venue- Hotel sea princess.
TRANSPORTATION FOR THE PARTICIPANTS STAYING AT THE GUEST HOUSES:
Mumbai University is around 4 kms from the International airport as well as from Santacruz Railway Station and it is 7 kms away from the conference venue.
IIT (Indian Institute of technology)-Bombay, is about 14 kms away from the airport.
One can choose from the transportation facilities mentioned above.
On September 19, the invited talks and special lectures will be held in Mumbai University Campus and followed by a cultural program in the evening.
TRANSPORTATION FOR REACHING MUMBAI UNIVERSITY:
FROM DOMESTIC AIRPORT:
Mumbai University is just 3.2 kms from the Domestic Airport. It usually takes around 7-8 minutes by a Private (KaaliPeeli) cab or any cabs for hire services like OLA or UBER.
FROM IIT BOMBAY:
Mumbai University campus is about 15 kms away from IIT-Bombay and is usually a half an hour drive through the cab services as mentioned above. You can also take the local BEST (bus service) to get to the campus. You would have to take Bus number 60EXP from IIT market to Ramabai Bus Stop from there you would have to switch buses to Bus number 507LTD to Vidya Nagari which will leave you near the gate of the University.
