Database Futures Workshop

The aim of this workshop is to discuss future prospects for the database area at LHC Run3+4. Today we see mostly relational and non-relational database models. New trends are Cloud Computing, Big Data, proactive & predictive performance analysis, … In particular, we would like to understand likely future database applications from the different user communities (experiments, accelerator controls, engineering support, IT, AIS, …) and how these might map to different database technologies and implementations.
