Functional requirements for the RFD that drive the EM design (10’)¶

Suba (slides)

281mm maximum size for bare cavity, 194mm beam to beam requirement. Reference (?)

Peak field maximums not present anywhere?

Deflecting field 3.3 —> 3.4 MV changed but where is it captured?

What is the acceptance criteria for deflecting field?

15:10  15:30

Current EM design, risks or limitations (20’)¶

20m

HPR of shoulders, considering increasing the angle. Considering offset of HPR wand by +/- 2 cm.

HPR system at Jlab is not flexible for optimal RFD washing due to offset impossible.

Option of adding rinsing ports on one end group seems more reasonable.

15:30  15:50

Changes being investigated, benefits (20')¶
