Description

Kination-dominated quintessence scenarios can provide an intriguing connection between thermal WIMP dark matter and dark energy which can be tested at forthcoming and future colliders. We present the results of our investigation of the implications of such nonstandard cosmological models for neutralino dark matter in the MSSM, focusing on the role of the ILC in determining the parameter space constraints. We also describe a procedure in which such kination-dominated quintessence scenarios can be embedded within inflationary cosmology.
