The United States particle physics laboratory Fermilab is celebrating its 50th anniversary with its biggest open house in decades.
This Community Open House is a rare opportunity to see Fermilab up close and tour areas not typically open to the public. Visitors will go on tours, watch demos and participate in hands-on activities for the whole family. They'll learn all about Fermilab’s particle accelerators and experiments, see some of the lab's facilities, and watch live video casts with their international partners — including CERN!
