Description

The XENON program has recently released final legacy results from XENON100 detector  looking for high energy nuclear recoils (< 240keVnr), motivated by recent work on non relativistic effective field theory (EFT). In this framework  the WIMP-nucleus interactions may contain more than the traditionally considered spin-dependent and spin-independent interactions which are suppressed with low-momentum transfer. I will present an analysis focused on signatures from these operators. I will also discuss  the first dark matter results from the XENON1T detector. Finally I will present an experimental setup aiming at measuring superradiance effects in liquid xenon by observing the spatial distribution of the scintillation light. The apparatus is designed to hold a small bubble of liquid xenon covered by PMTs in 4pi.
