The Venue
The conference will take place at the Emmy-Noether Campus (ENC), Walter-Flex-Strasse 3 in Building D; Room 114.
From the station the campus can be reached either by foot (15 min up-hill) or by Bus 114 (stop at ENC).
Getting there
If you travel by air, it is recommended to fly into Cologne/Bonn, Frankfurt or Düsseldorf. In all cases, you continue by regional train to Siegen. The lowest average travel time would be from Cologne/Bonn (about 1h 40 min). From Frankfurt, it takes between 2h and 2h 30 min. Travelling from Dusseldorf to Siegen takes about 2h 30min. If you plan to take a train from any of these stations go to http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml where you can search for the best connection. Please put “Köln/Bonn Flughafen”, “Frankfurt (M) Flughafen”, “Düsseldorf Flughafen”, “Dortmund Flughafen” as your departure station and “Siegen“ as your destination. It is advisable to save time to book the train ticket online on the above website
Accommodation
We suggest the Holiday Inn. The hotel is 5 min. walking from the central station. Please indicate in your registration from if you want us to book a room for you. The price will be € 84 per night including breakfast.
Workshop Dinner
The workshop dinner will take place at Restaurant the Brasserie. It can be reached by foot from the Holiday Inn, or by car. Parking is available at Tiefgarage Karstadt (Unteres Schloss) (note that you can only enter until 20.00, but you can always exit) or Parkhaus Altstadt (Löhrtor).
