- Helga news from pyheadtail
- They added some nice swan examples
- We don't really have the capacity to do it now
- Helga on news from last time
- Be careful not to break existing work
- We have to pull first from the admin github
- Do not add changes directly to the admin, but follow the pull request
- Correct ways to compare with true/false
- best is the if boolean_var, or if not boolean_var
- the if not (none variable) will be true
- be reasonable with pep8 corrections
- Proposing a joint publication for PRSTAB
- Helga will create a shared latex file with overleaf
- Danilo cleaned-up all the examples
- they agree with the master branch
- Added a runtime error in input_parameters, preprocess works only for single section
- Alex: Danilo and Ivan should work on input checking and preprocess
- Alex made a list of all the various inputs, need to move it in the documentation
- AP Alex, Danilo and Ivan sit down and discuss
- Joel added an issue in github
- “is” checks if the 2 objects are same, not value
- We can close the issue
- From last Ivan's presentation:
- Bunch generation for short bunches
- Alex=> better interpolation scheme should be implemented, or rescaling the size of the problem
- Helga we need a detailed user manual
- Simon presentation for PSB and LEIR
- Simulations for various B, fixed rf frequency
- Mainly discussion about physics
- Should the omega_rf that is passed as an input to the rf_params object compute directly the phi_RF program ? => Yes
- Addition of a delta_omega_rf option in preprocess RF that would be on top. Make sure that the dphi program is consistent.
- Konstantinos quick overview of the bmath module
- Centralization of math functions in a blond math module to be extended
