Description

This presentation briefly reviews using PSpice and Opera-2d for modelling frequency dependent resistance and inductance, such as skin effect and proximity effect: the PSpice equivalent circuit can be used in both frequency- and time-domain PSpice simulations. In addition the presentation briefly reviews modelling of a multi-gap thyratron for time-domain simulation of turn-on: this allows the modelling of pre-pulse displacement current.
