Description

Most departments rely on student evaluations of teaching (SET) when trying to determine an instructor's teaching effectiveness. Some even focus on a single number, the "overall mark" given by students. How can we do better? We want to know which methods you use and why, and if you are satisfied with the information they provide. We especially want to hear from you if you are using Peer Evaluation of Teaching - how do you keep the workload manageable? How do you handle issues of trust?
