Het CERN-versnellerscomplex is gedurende vele jaren opgebouwd, wat heeft geresulteerd in een grote hoeveelheid onderling verbonden versnellers die elk deeltjesbundels leveren aan een groot aantal verschillende experimenten.

De LEIR-machine is een kleine cirkelvormige versneller die we vanaf een platform kunnen zien. De werking van de versneller zal worden uitgelegd en je zult in staat zijn om alle componenten te identificeren en te observeren die werden besproken tijdens de "Workshop over deeltjesversnellers"
