By Train
Padova is on the Turin-Trieste and Venice-Rome rail routes. It is about two hours from Milan, one hour from Bologna and 30 minutes from Venice and Verona. Padova is also easily reachable by train from Austria, Germany and France.

By Air
The nearest airport is Venice Marco Polo (60 Km) where many domestic and international airlines operate.
From the Venezia airport to Padova:
- Bus service to Padova (Piazzale Stazione, on the side of the railway station) - from Marco Polo airport in Venezia-Tessera to Padova bus headstop in Railway station square. http://www.fsbusitalia.it/, timeline (please check for possible updates!)
- Bus + train service - ACTV bus service offers a busses from the Venice airport to Venezia-Mestre railway station (20 minutes ride). From Venezia-Mestre there are trains to Padova (20-30 minutes ride).
- The Limousine Service - Different companies offer a service which will pick up at the airport and take you directly in Padova: e.g. Air Service by TaxiPadova or Landomas Service. Please note that the reservation must be made at least 24 hours before your arrival, indicating date, time and flight number.
- Taxi - There is also a Radiotaxi service (Tel. +39-041.595.2080) for a direct transfer from airport to Padova, howewer this is the most expensive solution.
Treviso A. Canova (70 Km) and Verona Villafranca (80 Km) airports are also close. Train services from Verona downtown and Treviso downtown are available at Trenitalia
