Unfortunately, due to high demand during the period during which the Workshop will take place, we cannot pre-book any rooms at the CERN Hotel for this Workshop. However, participants are still encouraged to check on an individual basis if there is any availability:

Book a Room at the CERN Hotel

There is a wide choice of hotels in Geneva and Pays de Gex (France), which you can compare using your favourite hotel booking site. Prices tend to be relatively high and can range from 70 to 170 EUR (80-200 CHF) per night for a 2-3 or low end 4-star hotel.

Given that CERN is located right on the border between France and Switzerland, it may be worth getting a hotel in France (St. Genis, Thoiry, Prévessin, Ferney-Voltaire, ...). Otherwise, if you choose to stay in Geneva, be sure to pick a hotel with public transport close by. Tram line 18 goes from different areas of Geneva (including downtown) straight to CERN.

We advise you to book your accommodation as early as possible since occupancy tends to be high in the area, due to the presence of many international organizations. Prices will increase steadily as the date approaches.
