The workshop is intended as an informal and open discussion on all the aspects of joining techniques for CO2 cooling system piping, including fittings, welded joints, brazed joints and special connections involving electrical breaking.

Similar to the annual Forum on Tracker Detector Mechanics, the idea is to host a number of specific presentations but also to leave ample space for debate, questions and discussion.

Please let us know as soon as possible of any specific subject that you intend to present directly, or that you would like to be addressed during the workshop. We will organize the agenda based on the received input.

Please contact:

Paolo.petagna@cern.ch

Jerome.daguin@cern.ch

VIDYO CONNECTION WILL BE AVAILABLE, BUT PERSONAL PARTICIPATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED FOR A MOST EFFECTIVE EXCHANGE.

The room reserved is comfortably large (120 seats), so do not hesitate to forward this invitation to any other colleagues potentially interested in the subject, passing on the contact details of Jérôme and Paolo (colleagues from other subdetectors cooled by CO2 are of course more than welcome).
