Description
Around 300 power converters are in service for the SPS
north area since the end of the seventies. Their
electronic generates four times more failures than the
power converters of the SPS ring. The presentation will
detail the works done under the EA renovation project.
The start-up problems of the new POWERJC will be
explained.
The major concerns for operation in the coming years
will be listed.
