Attracting Winners of the #ATTRACT Young are visiting CERN!

Elettra Sincrotrone TriesteAREA Science Park, and INFN Trieste, in collaboration with ATTRACT, organized a Workshop-Hackathon “Ideas from the Young” event  in Trieste, Italy, on April 19-20, 2018. More info about the Hackathon can be found here.

#AttractYoung Hackathon aimed to attract young talents to brainstorm together societal challenges of tomorrow and to imagine how to respond to these challenges, how to solve the problems and how to relief the pains using detector and imaging technologies of the future.

The winning team of #AttractYoung worked on energy retrieval from noise. They are visiting both CERN and ESRF to learn more about detection and imaging technologies as well as about the research done at these facilities.
