Main Theme:  The Human Mind and Physicalism

The principle theme of the conference will be "the human mind and physicalism." Physicalism (also called scientific materialism) is the claim that all of reality, including the human mind, is physical. This reductive claim will be examined from the point of view of physics, neuroscience, computer science, mathematical logic, philosophy, and other disciplines.  While this the principle theme of the conference, talks and poster presentations will be on other topics as well.
