In this workshop you will, after a short theoretical introduction, work with a test beam in the North Experimental Area at the CERN SPS. You will learn how to steer the beam, study the effect of collimators as a function of their location in the beam optics (momentum slit and acceptance collimators) and measure the beam composition with different methods.
Every participant will be asked to attend a preparatory lecture on Wednesday, 1st August at 14:00 in 593/R-010.
