ORIGIN in the Balkans
Round table on contributions:
- Ligo/Virgo interferometer model for schools: all participants like it, follow up is with Chiara and Martin
- Muographer: same posters as in Toronto, looking for someone able to go to Split for the exhibit duration
- Movements sonification: Chiara explain the concept to new folks
- ATLAS detector bits collection: is increasing (silicon, calo, computing), will come "in a suitcase"
- VR: Tom's 360 panorama works on Occulus-GO. Claire will bring hers to explain to the teachers, who will then decide if they want to invest or not.
- Playing with data: Tom explains by e-mail what he did in Toronto and the type of tablet needed.
Hot topics & questions list:
- To Split organisers: gentle reminder that we need asap information on date, speakers, expected audiences and themes of both public outreach talk (?) and art-science round table (Martin, James).
- To Michael: we have the building plan, but Claire needs to know where ATLAS pieces will be displayed and if she can make use of a wall for last minute posters.
- Do we need to add names to the mailing list ? If yes, let Chiara know.
Next meeting: in 2 weeks, i.e. 16.08.2018
