Europe/Zurich
30/7-018 - Kjell Johnsen Auditorium (CERN)
Description
The MQXF workshop will focus on the preparation of documents required by the US Accelerator Upgrade Project (AUP) for the fabrication of MQXFA and LMQXFA magnets. The documents include acceptance criteria, manufacturing inspection plans, magnet interfaces and cold-mass interfaces. In the afternoon, there will also be a discussion on the Frequency Scanning Interferometry system and its application for the internal monitoring of the position of the cold mass inside the cryostat. |
