Public round table on Art & Science 10m

Ivica's original proposal (attached) is discussed. It contains lots of material and views that will be transformed in a talk (given on Tuesday). For the round table:

      Format :

      - each participant should be given ~5 minutes max to expose his views -> ~6 people max

      - a moderator, if possible neutral i.e neither artist nor scientist (critic ? professor ?) should lead & ask questions

      - gender balance

      Participants :

      - scientists: Ivica, Michael, James

      - 2 artists

      - 1 critic or teacher or philosopher ( acting as moderator ? )

      Exhibit setup 10m

      Practical questions to be solved:

      - we need 3 tables ( 2m x 1 m )

      - how will Michael hold his art pieces ?

      - need transparent covers for objects ( see Toronto photo, a simple version is plates supported by wooden cubes  )

      - minimal labels for objects will be handwritten on visitor cards printed at CERN ( see Claire's suggestion attached ), pointing to a longer description put on the web site

      - students and teachers will be given a bookmark with the web site url & QR code (design be Michael, to be printed in Split)

      Post meeting addendum by Claire:

Muographix (note the ix at the end) now has a public web site, linked from ours.  Have a look at this news:
