Welcome to the International workshop on "High Performance Computing in High Energy Physics" to be held from Sep 19 to 21, 2018 at the Institute of Partice Physics,  College of Physical Science and Technology, Central China Normal University (CCNU), Wuhan, China.  Attendance will be by invitation only.

The goal of this workshop is to bring the experts and new-comers together to discuss recent exciting developments, new ideas for future directions, and future challenges in lattice QCD and other applications of HPC in high energy physics. It also includes an inauguration meeting of a newly-built computing center at CCNU, i.e. Nuclear Science Computing Center, in short NSC$^3$, in the morning of Sep. 19.  The NSC$^3$ will be one of the first computing facilities focusing on lattice QCD studies at nonzero temperature and density in China and the first installment will be completed this September.
