Boris Hippolyte (IPHC / USIAS (Strasbourg, FR)), Chiara Mariotti (INFN Torino (IT)), Claire Adam Bourdarios (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (FR)), Despina Hatzifotiadou (Universita e INFN, Bologna (IT)), James Beacham (Ohio State University (US)), Martin Hendry, Michael Hoch (Austrian Academy of Sciences (AT))

Present: Despina, Michael, Claire. Long skype with Sara after the meeting.

The existing material is explained to Despina ( web site public part, web site protected part, twitter ). The ALICE input and structure is still to be discussed internally.

Projects news & discussions:

We converge on the distinction between "Networking events" (art, talks, exhibit) and the "Cultural Collision format" which includes Education ( schools, workshops ).  The table of current and future projects is updated accordingly.

  • Canada: evaluation in progress, no action needed
  • South-East Europe: specific page is public. Ivica should check credits; additional photo albums can be linked
  • Georgia: Despina will be present for MC at an IPPOG/CERN event where our exhibit will be also used.
  • Japan: is a networking event, including art pieces and performances, talks.
  • Mexico: Claire and Despina met LHCP 2019 Mexican organisers
  • Other ideas are still too premature to be discussed

Post meeting addendum: web site wrap up

Intro was rewritten with Sarah Leach, Claire's science communication intern & native English writer.

The difference between "Cultural collisions" and other events was implemented as a tag. "networking event" was changed into "art-science event", which does not sound as corporate. "origin-exhibit" is used for cases where files are printed and used in wider contexts (e.g. Georgia).

Helping with project presentation:  a "Toolbox" was added, with "illustrative material" = a subset of  Michael's public talks @Split, which is also linked in the protected "organisation section" (because children pictures cannot be made public). Will be re-visited after IPPOG and ATLAS internal presentations (next 2 weeks)

No other structural or content change is expected in the web site for a while. Pause :-)

There are minutes attached to this event. Show them.
