Bolpur is nicely connected by Road. So many State Gov. and Public bus services are available from Durgapur (both city center and durgapur station). So people who get down at durgapur railway station can travel to bolpur via express bus as well.
In case you don't get a direct bus to Bolpur, you can take any bus going towards North Bengal and get down at Ilambazar, which is only 17 km from Bolpur. Then you would enough local as well as express bus between Ilambazar and Bolpur.
