Claire Adam Bourdarios (ATLAS), Irais Bautista Guzman (Autonomous University of Puebla (MX)), Luis Roberto Flores Castillo (The Chinese University of Hong Kong (HK)), Maria Isabel Pedraza Morales (Autonomous University of Puebla (MX))

Present: Chiara, Isabel, Claire . See attached links for more information. 3 hot topics were discussed:

1) BUAP-ARPA art-science competition kick off:

Claire had a first connection with the BUAP-ART team, to explain the concepts and discuss the needs. About 20 competitors are on board, teachers and students. The top priority for the coming week [ 21 to 28 ] is to "feed them" with resources. Call was sent to all yesterday. Contact = Claire

2) CMS virtual visit on 26.03:

The CMS policy is to group several "clients" for their VV of the detector. Isabel has solved the problem by inviting her department and a local TV. She will stay in surface to give the VV in Spanish, Noemi will be downstairs to show CMS. The context of the visit ( = BUAP-ARPA competition and ORIGIN exhibit) will be explained, which of course is good publicity. Contact = Isabel

3) Posters & banners:

Banners are not allowed outside the exhibit, we have to foresee a couple of generic roll ups. Claire will follow up with Jesus.

The 4 large (2x2 m) standard posters ( = Pays de Gex, LHC tunnel, CMS detector, Event display) will be shipped and paid by CERN.  Each of the 4 experiments is then free to provide more material / images to cover a 2x2 m panel. "Stuff" has to be brought by one of the conference participant, as there is no "common transport" for the conference.

  • Chiara will follow up for CMS (light prints used for Croatia),
  • Claire for ATLAS (square event displays & revisited 25m banner design),
  • Bolek for LHCb,
  • local organisers for ALICE.

Reminder: detector pieces will be brought by Mexican institutes.

Post meeting addendum: the CERN-ECO "donation" only covers the 4 large posters if they are delivered to CERN (tax free) and transported to and back from Mexico in physicists luggage. If no volunteer can be found we may only order (and get sent directly to Mexico) the Pays de Gex + LHC tunnel. Connie agrees to let us take and use her 2x2 m image of the 4 experiments, and Claire will have event displays in her "ATLAS kit".

There are minutes attached to this event. Show them.
