Description

This meeting will cover two packages from Scikit-HEP. The first is Particle, a pythonic way to access and use the information in the PDG particle data table, with lots of useful functionality for libraries and scripts. The second is DecayLanguage, a way to parse and convert particle decays that is currently under development.

Particles and decays in the Scikit-HEP project 20m

Particle is a Python library for programmatic access to the PDG particle data table. It provides useful extended information, like LaTeX names, and supports custom particles, as well.

DecayLanguage is a tool under development for describing, displaying, and converting particle decays.
