      User Reports / Overview :

      ATLAS - sTGC : 2 QS1 received at GIF,  one tested and out. Second one will go in soon.
                                  1 QS3 out. 

      ATLAS-MM :  LM2-M5, SM1-M10 in, will stay for another day. Access requested  1h tomorrow to change for.
                               SM1-M11, SM2-M8.
                               GC usage requested for the next week.

      EP-DT1:  Oxygen (peak suspected), but not confirmed.

      EP-DT2 : Test on the stability of gas systems.

      EcoGas :  Some issues, to be understood.

      CMS-RPC :  Trolley for testing the electronics is installed. Cosmics with background.
                            22-4.6 filter range with 10h scans. as much as possible.
                            1 week program. 46-4.6 for 6h each.  (maybe a few hours 2.2)

                           For the other trolleys 2.2 requested.
                           GC requested for the end of next week.
                           Gas flow needs to be checked, as we are on the limit.

      CMS-GEM 1&2 :  GEM 2 gas flow seems to be ok now.                                                                                                                         GEM 1:  OFF

      ATLAS-RPC :  BIS removed. Another trolley BIS still to arrive.
                               No request for the R&D setup.                

      LHCb :  Fine.

      CMS-CSC:  Currently not irradiating. Question of Oxygen in chamber.
                          Plan to irradiate the next 2 weeks.

      New requests for tests at GIF 10m

      introduction, goal of the test, plan, needs

      Gas recuperation system to be installed (end of June) - Responsible : Roberto
      4 additional racks in Gas Service area. One containing flammable gas.
      FG detection system to be installed, power needs to be provided.

      Cleaning of DCS and installation of UPS : to be scheduled.

      Ongoing Projects :

      Correction of Irradiator Signals after power cut.
      Since installation of UPS, the Irradiator signals UNSAFE after a power cut, independently if the source was ON or OFF at the time. In reality, source will always be in safe position after power cut. Power cycle controls in control room to get correct status.

       

      PyTIMBER :

          Additional values need to be collected/republished ?
              - REMUS  - to be included in GIF Display
              - XTDV - to be included in pytimber only

        Guidelines for filling in IMPACT requests

        General Guideline : One IMPACT per setup.

         

        • two chambers on individual supports -> 2 IMPACT declarations
        • multiple chambers swapped on same or similar support -> one IMPACT declaration
        • basically, if you need two locations, please make two IMPACT declaration (clone)

        Each Setup should have IMPACT label attached with number.
        Attached documents : CAD file  or  picture.
        Review working hours : if your declaration includes the bunker area, please state the number of hours you want to stay INSIDE the bunker only (for RP purposes).

        NEW IMPACT needed for 2019 !
