How to Reach Bari

By plane 

There are two international airports in Puglia Bari (BRI) and Brindisi (BDS). The dedicated Pugliairbus service is available to reach the airports For more information, visit Aeroporti di Puglia website . 
     

 

From the Airport to the City:

  • By taxi : taxis are located in front of the Arrivals Hall of Bari-Palese International Airport. A ride to the city center takes around 25 minutes and costs around € 25.00. For more information visit the link .  
  • By shuttle bus TEMPESTA BUS provides direct connections from the airport to Bari Centrale station and vice versa. The bus stop is in Piazza Aldo Moro. Journey time : 25/30 minutes. The fare is € 4.00 each way. For timetables, consult the company's website .       
  • By train : a railway line is available that connects the airport to the "Bari Centrale" station. The one-way ticket fare is € 5.00 and lasts about 15 minutes. The recommended stops are "Bari Centrale" to reach the hotels in the center. For further information, consult the website of the railway company .  



By Train 

The Trenitalia Frecce connect every day Roma and Lecce with stops in Foggia, Barletta, Bari and Brindisi. For more information visit the Trenitalia website 

 

By car 

For those traveling by car, you can reach the motorway from Puglia along the Adriatic coast from Nords , along the A14 Bologna - Taranto; coming from Rome, the A1 to Naples and the A16 to Canosa di Puglia. From the south you can reach Puglia with the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria to Sibari and the 106 Jonica state road to Taranto. To find out more, visit the Autostrade per l'Italia website .
