ANNOUNCEMENT RELATED TO COVID-19

Because of the regulations being enforced to limit the spread of the disease, the ARIES Annual Meeting in Lisbon is CANCELLED.

In order to progress with our activities, a REDUCED VERSION of the meeting will take place on the same dates by VIDEOCONFERENCING. In particular, will take place by video connection:

  • Part of the WP meetings on Tuesday 21 April.
  • The TNA meeting on Tuesday 21 April.
  • The Governing Board meeting on 22 April (contractual obligation).
  • The presentations by the WP Coordinators, concentrated on one full day (Wednesday 22 or Thursday 23).

We plan to move the HIGHLIGHT TALKS, the SPECIAL SESSIONS and the PROOF-of-CONCEPT presentations to our Steering Committee meeting foreseen end of November - early December, which will be open and become an "ARIES Mini-Meeting".

I am sorry for all the inconveniences and I thank the organisers for all the work done so far.

Maurizio Vretenar, ARIES Project Coordinator
