D.S. reminded that by the end of March all outstanding beam physics issues for the CLIC re-baselining have to be decided. They should be discussed first in the beam physics meeting. He asked to propose dates. B.J. asked about running scenarios for the drive beam. This information would be needed for magnet design. D.S. said that all magnets should allow for 20% stronger than nominal field.
F. Stulle presented the new RTML lattice, which is now capable of running at 9 GeV after the booster linac. The performance is a lot better than previous versions, mainly due to improved lattices of the central arcs and the turn around loops. The bunch compression system has been adapted to an initial longitudinal emittance of 6000 m eV. To get back some margin for the RTML D.S. agreed to allow a larger energy spread of up to 1.7% at the entrance of the main linac. This corresponds to a maximum longitudinal emittance of 6700 m eV.
