C++ Training
-
Axel Naumann discussed with some interested people connected to C++ standards committee
-
They recognise this as a problem, bringing beginners on from a Python background, but are very far away from solving it
-
They will (are?) work on a document gathering needs and ideas for training
-
C++ as a modern language, not as an add on to C (no new/delete; no printf; RAII; …)
-
-
Stay in touch with them, but... as a community we should still think about how to develop suitable material
-
Suggest that next meeting is 13 January
