Lunch and coffee breaks

All three lunches and all coffee breaks are included in the registration fee and will be served outside of the meeting room.



From the Vaclav Havel Airport to the city centre

Taxi stand is just outside the Arrival hall. 

If you want to travel by public transportation, the best option is to take the bus no. 119 to Nadrazi Veleslavin, and then take metro line A (green) to the city centre. The bus stop is both in Terminal 1 (non-Schengen countries) and Terminal 2 (Schengen countries). The bus operates with intervals of 3-5 minutes during the day, and every 10 minutes in the night.

Tickets can be purchased either at the counter of Prague Public Transit company (Dopravni podnik Praha) located in the Arrivals hall, or outside at the bus stop in ticket vending machines. It is possible to pay with credit/debit card.


How to get to the workshop venue

The workshop venue will be in the main building of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering: Brehova 7, 115 19, Prague 1.

There are several possibilities of how to get there. You can take metro line A (green) to the station Staromestska, and then walk for ~5 minutes. There are three tram lines that can get you to the workshop venue: either take number 2 or 18 to the station Staromestka, or take number 17 to the station Pravnicka fakulta. Finally, there is also a bus line no. 207 which stops at the station Pravnicka fakulta. 


Types of public transport tickets

The tickets for public transportation in Prague are based on the time you spend on travel. Every time you start your trip, you have to stamp the ticket in the stamping machines located inside buses, trams, or at the entrance to the metro before you enter the escalators. Tickets can be bought at any newspaper stands, at the ticket vending machines at some stops, or inside the trams (note that buses and metro don't have the vending machines inside). There is also a possibility to buy the ticket via SMS, but please leave some time until you get the confirmation SMS back. 

There are several types of tickets. You can choose which one to use depending on how often and how long do you plan to travel. The possibilities of ticket types are: 30 minutes, 75 minutes, 1 day (24 hours), 3 days (72 hours).

Internet connection

Eduroam connection is available in the whole building of the workshop venue. 



The workshop venue is located in the main city centre, so most of the touristic attractions are within a walking distance.
