Description

I review the first results obtained by the CMS collaboration from minimum bias events produced by pp interactions at 09, 2.36 and 7.0 TeV in the LHC. I describe the measurements of charged particle spectra, inter-particle correlations, and of the effects of the underlying event. I also present comparisons with QCD-inspired models.
