Description

We present the motivation, the procedure applied and the very first - preliminary - results of the Forward-Backward (FB) p_t and multiplicity correlation analysis of charged particles data in pp@900GeV collisions. The analysis was completed on experimental data obtained with ALICE ITS+TPC systems. Comparison with PYTHIA event generator predictions is also done and the results are discussed. The good agreement of simulated and reconstructed PYTHIA data in the framework of ALICE experimental setup shows that the use of the relative observables for selected p_t region (0.3 GeV/c < Pt < 1.5 GeV/c) allow one to obtain the unbiased correlation functions without additional systematic corrections. This enables to get the first experimental results on FB correlations in ALICE in pp collisions at 900 GeV extended in the +- 0.8 pseudorapidity interval.
