The aim of this workshop on Multiple Partonic Interactions (MPI) at the LHC is to raise the profile of MPI studies, summarising the legacy from the older phenomenology at hadronic colliders and favouring further specific contacts between the theory and experimental communities.
Topics to be discussed include:
Theoretical considerations for the description of MPI at the LHC.
Experimental results on inelastic hadron collisions.
Underlying event measurements.
Measuring multiple partonic interactions.
Overview of MC models and tunings.
Diffraction and low-x physics.
Heavy Ions.
