Abstract
Since the serendipitous discovery of X-rays by Roentgen , a lot of technologies mutated by Nuclear Physics have applied for diagnostics to Medicine giving birth to what is called Nuclear Medicine. Radiography, RMI, CAT scanner, TEP are spectacular examples. Beams of particles are used for curing tumors exploiting all kind of projectiles , from photons to carbon ions with hopes to use also neutrons. A story of success for the benefit of the patients
