D.S. informed that the 5th International Accelerator School for Linear Colliders will be in Switzerland end of October. Application deadline is mid June.
J.E. reported on the implementation of the trident cascade process in GUINEA-PIG. The basic theory is well understood and existing algorithms can be implemented following similar steps as the implementation of coherent pairs.
J.S. discussed some idea to mitigate the impact of magnetic stray fields on beam dynamics. Especially for the long transfer line the required tolerances seem to be orders lower than actually expected values. Shielding might be an option, but benefit could be limited. Another option is a feed-forward system which actively corrects offsets and angles.
