      General guideline :

      • ONE setup to enter the bunker at any given time.
      • All presence at the GIF and access to the bunker needs to be announced via Teamup beforehand (!)
      • Traceability of people on site :  Logbook ! - List all the people you encountered.
      • General access Wednesday is suspended for the time being

      Presence at GIF needs to be limited to minimum. If you can work from remote - please do.

      If your IMPACT has not been resumed - please do not come to the GIF.

      Restart of facility so far :

      • Week 21 : First restart.  ATLAS -sTGC
      • Week 22 : ATLAS MM
      • Week 23 : CMS -CSC
      • Week 24 :

      As for the next few weeks, Irradiation request have to be submitted via the TC or Group Leader to the "EP Ramp-Up Coordinator" for approval.

      We hope to be in a more relaxed situation in mid-June / July

      ATLAS-MM :  Next Wednesday come back of the long term chamber.
                                From 8.07 very busy with several chambers arriving.

      ATLAS - sTGC :  Continuing with test.  

      CMS-CSC:  Resuming main work next week

      EP-DT1:   Standby

      EP-DT2 :   source off scans for EPDT2, everything was ok

      CMS-DT:  Expected to return to bunker around September.

      EcoGas :  some interventions were performed yesterday on the setup

      CMS-RPC :  Started. Needs to be flushed for some time due to long OFF.
                              HV scan with source off done, source on scan now planned.
                             Trolley 147914 goes out next week.

      Cosmic (scintillators) Trolley :

      ATLAS-RPC: expected to come to CERN tomorrow. 3 gas gaps to be tested in the next weeks.

      ATLAS-sMDT (Gregor) : First visit to bunker, will come back with new plan

      MPI Munich would like to perform ageing tests of sMDT chambers in the GIF++ starting from about October 2020 to December 2021.
       
      BLM measuring campaign announced / ≈ 100 BLM, 2 days approx. 
      Dates to be confirmed soon.

      Bulgaria academy of science -> testing of new type of radiation monitor system

      A new setup of ALICE-RPC will come. More news in coming weeks.

      Lab on Fiber (LOF) dosimeter

      Gas recuperation system to be installed - Responsible : Roberto
      4 additional racks in Gas Service area. One containing flammable gas.
      FG detection system to be installed, power needs to be provided.
      (DELAYED by a few months. Will be first installed in CMS, and only later come to GIF)

        General Guideline : One IMPACT per setup.

        • two chambers on individual supports -> 2 IMPACT declarations
        • multiple chambers swapped on same or similar support -> one IMPACT declaration
        • basically, if you need two locations, please make two IMPACT declaration (clone)

        Each Setup should have IMPACT label attached with number.
        Attached documents : CAD file  or  picture.
        Review working hours : if your declaration includes the bunker area, please state the number of hours you want to stay INSIDE the bunker only (for RP purposes).
